Just: Music

We organised a first of its kind performance with recording artist and songwriter Suman Sridhar at Byculla District Jail
“Performing at the prison was surreal - bringing music to imprisoned people was an immediate experience of healing through the arts. I felt honoured by the level of connection my music had with people; I left just as enriched.”
— Suman Sridhar
“As I played, I could see how the music provided a temporary escape from the harsh reality of their lives. It was humbling to witness how a simple song could create a connection between us, transcending walls and bars.
Despite the difficult circumstances, there was a sense of unity that resonated in the room. I left feeling grateful for the opportunity to bring a moment of peace into such a challenging environment.”
